2023 Toyota Tacoma Coming Soon to Toyota of Scranton

August 30th, 2022 by

Coming soon for 2023 is the rugged and capable, highly configurable crowd favorite among mid-sized pickups, the Toyota Tacoma. This mid-sized truck outsells the competition’s full-size models year after year. The soon-to-be-released 2023 models promise to keep doing the same.

Exterior Styling

Already the best-looking truck on the trail, 2023 promises more of the same for the Toyota Tacoma with its aggressive grille and the available smoked headlight and taillight housings. Over-fenders make a tough-looking stance on the SR5 packages. The new Tacoma’s available LED headlights will use LED elements for low and high beams, giving you brighter and more efficient lighting when needed. Bolted to the front of the Tacoma, they look fantastic as well. For a shinier option, the new SR5 Package is all about chrome.

Interior Comfort

The 2023 Tacoma will feature a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with two-way lumbar support. The upcoming Tacoma is designed to handle the demands of any adventure with style and comfort. The interior will feature soft-touch materials for a pleasant driving experience; TRD Pro adds leather-trimmed seating surfaces for the ultimate in rugged sophistication. The available automatic climate control will be offered on all V6 Tacoma models, letting the driver and the passenger personalize their comfort.

Performance

Tacoma will come with the base four-cylinder offered in previous years, creating 159 horsepower and providing 180-lb-ft of torque. Kicking it up a notch, the optional 278-horsepower V-6 engine offers 265-lb-ft of torque, providing exceptional performance and more muscle for towing. A six-speed automatic or manual transmission is available, depending on your driving preference. The maximum towing capacity will reach 6800 pounds and a payload capacity of 1,685 pounds. The 2023 Toyota Tacoma will come in either rear-wheel-or four-wheel drive platforms, so whether you are cruising the highways or tackling the roughest trails in one of the premium off-road packages, this is a ride worth waiting for.

Connectivity

The 2023 Toyota Tacoma’s Wi-Fi Connect enables you to turn your truck into a hotspot with 4G connectivity; up to five devices can stay connected to your favorite apps, be it for work or play, while conserving battery power and data for every device. With Toyota’s Remote Connect feature, you can access select vehicle capabilities from your smart device. Locking and unlocking doors, starting and stopping the engine, and finding and monitoring vehicle status are all possible through the Toyota app.

Safety

Every Tacoma comes with Toyota’s Star Safety System as a standard feature. The advanced integration of safety technology includes Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), traction control, anti-lock brake system, electronic brake-force distribution, Brake Assist, and Smart Stop Technology. Additional options are available such as the Toyota Safety Sense system with an Integrated Backup Camera and rear parking sonar and Blind Spot Monitor With Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.
