2026 Toyota Crown

The new 2026 model of the Toyota Crown has officially made its debut. This announcement follows the Crown’s recent feature at New York Fashion Week as part of a collaboration with the acclaimed designer Christian Siriano. The Toyota Crown was the backdrop for his Fall/Winter 2025 Collection and was surrounded with florals by the talented florist Pejy Kash. For 2026, the Crown brings the dazzling design and futuristic perspective the world has come to expect from a model worthy of sitting center stage at one of the world’s most renowned fashion events.

The 2026 Toyota Crown offers four trim levels and two powertrain options. Since the Crown is exclusively a hybrid model, the available powertrains are the Toyota Hybrid System (THS) and the Hybrid MAX. Another feature you’ll see across all trims is All-Wheel Drive, while systems like the Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) and Full-Time Electronic All-Wheel Drive are found on the Platinum grade. These features are a testament to Toyota’s commitment to ensuring a smooth ride and enhanced driving experience in the new Crown.

As for its design, the Crown is no ordinary sedan. Its elevated height gives it a more SUV-like feel and allows the driver to see more of the road ahead. The interior also feels more spacious than your average sedan and offers an impressive array of comfort and convenience features. For example, heated and ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and leather-trimmed seating are all standard features in the new Crown. The fixed panoramic moonroof also comes standard across all trims, while the Panoramic View Monitor is available on the Limited grade and standard with the Platinum. Also, there’s no need to upgrade to take advantage of the Crown’s standard vertical-type wireless Qi charger with enhanced space efficiency.

It’s reasonable to expect modern technology inside the cabin of a 2026 model-year vehicle. The 2026 Toyota Crown takes “modern” to the next level with its infotainment and connectivity systems. An expansive 12.3-inch touchscreen and the Toyota Audio Multimedia system come standard on all trims and provide wireless connection to systems like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Another exciting feature is Drive Connect, a system designed to enhance connectivity with features such as Intelligent Assistant. This feature is voice-activated and awakens with phrases like “Hey Toyota”. Then, you can ask it to adjust the temperature and audio, find directions, and much more. All trim levels include a 1-year trial of Drive Connect along with Remote Connect.

As for safety, the 2026 Crown comes standard with the confidence-inspiring Toyota Safety Sense 3.0. Not only does the Crown provide this suite of advanced safety features, but it also includes Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Safe Exit Alert, Rear Seat Reminder, and Blind Spot Monitor. The Platinum grade takes driver assistance up a notch with features like Toyota’s Advanced Park system and the Head-Up Display.
