ThanksLiving 2021 | The Indraloka Animal Sanctuary
At Toyota of Scranton in Scranton, PA, we are animal enthusiasts. We have people from service to finance, that own and love their animals as if they were children. That is why Toyota of Scranton was extremely excited to humbly donate $2,500 to the Inraloka Animal Sanctuary in support of their ThanksLiving feast. Visitors of the event enjoyed an uplifting ceremony where Indraloka Animal Sanctuary surprised the turkeys and other birds with a Thanksgiving feast tailored specifically for them. The feast included foods like spinach salad, raw pumpkin pie, blueberries, pumpkin seeds, cranberries, and many other delicious treats. The ThanksLiving event also included live music, a luncheon, a raffle, and a silent auction.

2021 Feast for the Birds ThanksLiving
Due to pandemic challenges last year, guests had to attend the ThanksLiving feast virtually, but this year, the public was able to attend in person, getting to see the bird’s feast with their own eyes. The plant-based meal, which consisted of foods like blueberries, cranberries, pumpkin seeds, and other healthy treats, was sponsored by Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center. The guests of the event were also able to indulge in a plant-based meal that consisted of foods like butternut squash arancini, shaved cranberry maple-glazed roasted seitan turkey, and harvest pumpkin curry all catered by Parlor City Vegan. Denovo Creamery provided desserts as well that consisted of homemade vegan ice cream with a bubble waffle cone, and came in flavors like apple crisp and pumpkin spice. Other activities such as a silent raffle, live music, and children’s activities were also provided at the 2021 ThanksLiving Feast for the Birds.
